Sub Editor S.N.Bhaskar Raja. திருமதி. குணசுந்தரி என்ற குணாபாஸ்கர் ராஜா அவர்களால் 2001 ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 21 ஆம் தேதி ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டதுசென்னையில் மைலாப்பூர் டைம்ஸ் மாதிரி இராஜபாளையத்தில் ராஜபாளையம் டைம்ஸ் நடத்த வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணி மைலாப்பூர் டைம்ஸ் எடிட்டர் திரு. வின்ஸ்டன் அவர்களின் ஆலோசனையை ஏற்று முதலில் RJP NEWS என்ற பெயரில் ஆரம்பித்து பின் ராஜபாளையம் டைம்ஸ் என்ற பெயரில் தொடர்ந்தது.அப்பொழுது ராஜீக்கள் கல்லூரியில் பிரின்ஸ்பால் ஆக இருந்த திரு.நாராயணராஜா அவர்கள் பெண்ணாகிய நீங்கள் ஆரம்பிக்கும் இம் முயற்சியை விழா இல்லாமல் எப்படி மக்களிடையே, போய் சேரும் என்று கூறி கல்லூரியிலேயே கல்லூரி மாணவர்களுக்கு முன்பு முதல் பிரதியை வெளியிட்டார்.ஆரம்பத்தில் பத்திரிகை எடிட் பண்ணுவதற்கும் செய்திகளை எப்படி சேகரிப்பது என்பதைப் பற்றியும் திருமதி ஜெயா பாலசுப்பிரமணியன் கற்றுக் கொடுத்தார். அவரும் 1 வருடம் கூட இருந்தார். வாரம் ஒருமுறை இந்த பத்திரிகை வெளியிடப்பட்டது, பின் மாதம் ஒரு முறையாக மாற்றப்பட்டு வெளியிட்டு வருகிறது விலையில்லா பத்திரிகையாக 2000 பிரதிகள் விநியோகிக்கப்படுகிறது.கால மாற்றத்திற்கு ஏற்றார் போல் பத்திரிகை செய்தி online இல் வெளிவருகின்றது என்பதை பெருமையுடன் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம். GBR TRAVEL என்ற பெயரில் TRAVEL BUSINESS-ம் சிறப்பாக நடத்தி வருகிறார். பாஸ்போர்ட், விசா, குருப்டூர், விமான டிக்கெட், ரயில் பஸ் டிக்கெட் சிறப்பான முறையில் செய்து மக்களிடையே நன்மதிப்பை பெற்றுள்ளது. மணிமேகலை மன்றம் 59-ஆம் ஆண்டுவிழாவில் " சிறந்த சிற்றிதழ் க்கான பரிசைப் பெற்றுள்ளது.

Inspired by the Mailapur Times in Chennai, she thought of running the Rajapalayam Times in Rajapalayam. Initially, it was started under the name RJP NEWS and then continued as Rajapalayam Times. At that time, Mr. Narayanaraja, who was the principal at Raju's College, released the first issue in front of the college students, with the understanding that a formal event or function is necessary for the initiative, started by a woman, to effectively reach people. In the beginning, Mrs. Jaya Balasubramanian taught her how to edit the newspaper and how to collect news. She was there for 1 year. The newspaper was published once a week, then changed to once a month and is being published. It is a free newspaper with 2000 copies being distributed. We are proud to announce that the newspaper news is now appearing online in line with the times. They are successfully running the TRAVEL BUSINESS under the name GBR TRAVEL. Passport, visa, pilgrimage, air ticket, rail bus ticket are done in a special way an d have gained goodwill among the people.
